Testimonials

What do churches have to say about StoryMakers Partnerships?
Bishop Allen ShinEpiscopal Diocese of New York

It is a holistic and creative approach to spiritual formation of the children, the care and nurture of whose souls Jesus himself recognized as an important mission.

What is even more attractive is that this curriculum has been developed, in Melina’s own words, “With small churches in mind who do not have trained professional Sunday school teachers and who may just have one or two volunteers to run a multi-age Sunday school."

I encourage our churches small or big to try this out.

StoryMakers has been a blessing to our Diocese (congregations and school chapels), and we are happy to partner with them to help provide it to congregations across the islands. The pedagogical approach is sound, the materials are engaging, the art accessible (and often adorable, stunning, thought-provoking or sometimes all three), and, perhaps most importantly, it has a simplicity of use that gives an unparalleled level of flexibility for the teachers.

The time needed to prepare a class is impossibly small compared to the impact, which is particularly helpful when a congregation doesn’t know how many students there might be from week to week.
