StoryMakers is the most creative, out-of-the-box teaching tool I have used in my 30 years of serving as a Christian Educator in the Episcopal Church.StoryMakers is fresh, accessible, impeccably designed, AND brings the stories of our faith, not just to the doorstep, but throws the door wide open and says "WELCOME HOME!" in a way that honors, celebrates, and invites every child into the party! Seeing little fingers wrapped around the perfectly sized zines, and eyes wide as they learn of God's incarnate love, makes my heart want to burst wide open.

Purchasing a church subscription through StoryMakers completely changed the dynamics of our youth program. As volunteer teachers, we went from fumbling around with copies and searching for materials, to playing and learning alongside our kiddos.

The customer service and heart of the organization to share the gospel and stories with children everywhere is humbling. I’m obsessed.

Storymakers is adaptable in many different settings, whether you have a one-room-schoolhouse kind of vibe or you have rooms and rooms of classes! The open-and-shut aspect allows leaders to seamlessly use the guides while educating the children. It takes very little prep while still having a huge impact.

There are loads of curricula to choose from, but Storymakers is unique in the way they hold the Ancient stories in ways that are imaginative and modern while still being reverent and timeless. Children take ownership of their zines and the creative and innovative tools inside . They’re able to create and share what stories mean to them then after the season is over they can take home those zines. This isn’t a worksheet curriculum, and this isn’t something that’s going to be extra trash in all the minivans in the church parking lot. These are treasures children can go back to again and again. Engaging the stories over and over.
